General Overview

DLSv2 does away with how Vehicle Configuration Files (VCFs) were structured in DLSv1. Although they worked fine for the time, the lack of flexibility that hard-coded light stages and siren tones brought were impairing advancements in how vehicles were developed.

The new paradigm used by DLSv2 consists of Modes and Control Groups (CGs) which will be deeply explained in the coming pages.
